Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my blog. I’m new at this, but my goal is to create valuable posts for anyone that chooses to read. I hope you are able to learn something and laugh a little bit.
| A little bit about me |
I’m 30 years old and I’m Getting married this fall of 2018 to the man of my dreams, Tad. Check out the blog about how we met! I named my site ‘Farm and Glam’ because we live on a farm in Georgia but I am actually not totally accustomed to this type of living. I grew up riding horses, (English Three Day Event), close to the city and so my version of “the farm life” is a little bit more ‘glamorous’, if you will.
My life on the farm with Tad is my greatest and most favorite adventure. Right now, we live in the cutest and most cozy cabin but we have dreams of purchasing land to build our dream home where we will also plant a pecan orchard. I have a love for unique farm animals, so if left up to me we will have several alpacas, goats, and mini horses on our future farm. The struggle continues to convince Tad.
I have my Bachelor’s Degree from Kennesaw State University in Marketing. I decided to return to school in my late twenties and I can tell you it was the best decision I ever made!
I currently work in Real Estate at Keller Williams Realty as a communications & marketing specialist for four offices, The Georgia Partners Group. The constant hustle and selling atmosphere excites me. I initially chose this career path also because I eventually want to run my own business selling Real Estate! Deep down, I’m the type of person that wants to be the boss. I have been the “Indian” for many “Chiefs” and while being that has taught me many lessons, it is not truly fulfilling to me.
My true passion is horses. In my future, there will be two event horses roaming the pastures of our farm; a pretty little barn in the background. This goal is means everything to me!
So here we are! Just finished college, about to start a new career and get married; still writing my dreams on the pages of my extremely full planner. In my blogs, I promise to stay candid and honest. I’ll share my lessons and struggles too so that even if your life doesn’t look like mine at all, we will find a connection. After all, we are all connected in one way or another.
